Operations Specialist (STAGE)

WHAT DO YOU HAVE?

  • You excel in working with numerical models and tools, such as Excel, Business Intelligence (BI) software, and dashboards, to make informed decisions.
  • You are mother-tongue Italian
  • You can communicate confidently in English, both spoken and written, to collaborate with teams across countries and time zones.
  • Strong passion for online ventures and digital businesses
  • A "doer" mindset and entrepreneurial approach
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking
  • Based in Milan (use of smart working 2 days a week)
  • Good communication and presentation skills

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Analyze sales trends and market data to create accurate demand forecasts for our 10+ brands.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure production is in line with expectations and deadlines, as well as with internal teams to prevent stockouts while managing costs and cash flow efficiently.
  • Operate the company ERP, ensuring all relevant information is tracked and inserted to maximize inventory performance
  • Engage with our 3PLs to support in troubleshooting issues which may occur in the warehouses
  • Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing inventory levels and supply chain costs across brands.
  • Develop and manage dashboards, reports, and tools to monitor stock levels, lead times, and inventory performance across multiple channels.
  • Partner with the Supply Chain Senior Manager (based in the UK) and local teams in Italy to align strategies and priorities.
